Junior Choir

The Junior Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Chris Briggs, with Twyla Sellers on piano.

The Choir is open to all children in the Junior Department which includes third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades. They meet every Sunday Morning at 8:30 a.m. in the chapel and sing an anthem once a month at the 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Worship Services.

It is Chris and Twyla's sincere desire to strengthen all of the children's relationship with Christ through the power of music.

JUNIOR CHOIR

Jr. Choir is open to all children in grades three through eight.   It meets each Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the chapel, and is under the direction of Chris Briggs and accompanied by Twyla Sellers.   The Jr. Choir sings during:

• worship on the second Sunday of each month.
• additional past performances have included a combined choir anthem with the Senior Choir,
• the annual Christmas program and
• the Showers of Blessings concert,
• in 2004 the Jr. Choir was invited to sing at the Reformation Service on October 31, 2004.

During the course of the choir year, singers are encouraged to sing solos, learn to play the hand bells, and/or play their instruments if they are in band at school.   In 2003-2004 Kristin Hadler accompanied the choir on harmonica, Paige Kirby accompanied the choir on flute, and Elizabeth Dietz, Amanda Reed and Kristine Hadler all had solos.
