Parish Nursing

2007 ALC PARISH NURSING REPORT

The past year has been another rewarding year for the Parish Nurses at American Lutheran Church. We have continued to provide the services of weekly blood pressure screenings and various education sessions.

One of the most exciting events was the Health Fair co-sponsored by WELCA and Parish Nursing. There were approximately 100 participants. The Health Fair included various table displays and several different speakers throughout the evening.   Responses to the event were very positive.

Due to the change in time of Sunday morning church service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., we will be in the office for blood pressure screenings from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m..

We have accumulated quite a library over the years. The collection includes books, articles, and several different film series on a variety of topics that we are willing to loan to members of the congregation.

The Parish Nurses at American Lutheran Church are: Debbie Dietz, Marlys Morris, Rhonda Roesch, Sheila Sherman, Joan Shurbet and Roberta Smith.

We look forward to the coming year and welcome any comments and suggestions to help us better meet your needs.

God's Blessings to you all,

Parish Nurses of American Lutheran Church
